HeyFollowUp! is a personal note-taking tool. When you add a follow-up, we store the selfie photo, any business card photo, and the notes you type — including personal information about someone you met (their name, and if you scan a card, their email/phone). That person has not consented to this and isn't a HeyFollowUp! user themselves; this data exists solely so you can remember to reach out to them.

Photos are stored privately and are only ever accessible to you, via short-lived signed links. We don't sell or share your data with third parties. Business card text is read on your own device (nothing is uploaded to a third-party OCR service).

You can delete any follow-up at any time from its detail page, which also deletes the associated photos.

If you'd like your account and all associated data removed entirely, contact the app owner.
